WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

This is my new favorite place to eat in Spokane. After hearing about the concept of the restaurant I was expecting food that was run of the mill, edible but not spectacular. To say I was surprised is an understatement. The food was flavorful, fresh, unique and the chose your portion size aspect was perfect for those of us who like to taste a bit of everything without wasting.
When I went I had a quesadilla soup that was spicy but not over powering. The trout stuffing was just the right consistency for stuffing, not too dry and not too mushy. Also on the menu was nettle stuffed ravioli which despite being housed in a hot serving unit was not dried out or stale, instead it was fresh and had excellent taste and texture.

I have to admit, I was pretty leery about eating at One World, I just did not know what to expect. It turned out to be a great experience. I highly recommend it to everyone, and if you have been wanting to experience something new- or even to be a part of something- to check it out. The volunteer staff was friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing and fresh and seasoned perfectly, not to mention super healthy. I had zucchini quiche, curry trout soup, pasta salad- with the best tasting tomatoes I have had- and an apple spiced salad that was just bursting with flavor. Everyone I was with said they would be back…often. I loved that I could pick how big of a slice of quiche I could get- I can eat like a mouse there and pay for what I feel I ate, instead of spending 16 bucks on a meal that I can only eat a quarter of. Waste not. I like that I can just take only what I will eat. The whole place had a good vibe. Can’t wait to go back.
Count one of Spokane’s newest vegetarian-friendly dining options among its best...It’s certainly worth a hop down to 1804 E. Sprague Ave. You might love the friendly atmosphere. You might enjoy the community spirit and commitment to green practices (custom portions = less food waste). But anyone with a curious palate also will love the flavors and range of dishes.

Let’s talk toast.  One World Spokane is based upon community involvement, local sourcing, getting as much or as little as you want and paying as much or as little as you believe it’s worth. The food is mostly vegetarian and prepared fresh.  And WOW!  Is it good.

I had a sampler plate that consisted of a little of everything and was very impressed with the freshness and flavor of it all.
